Whether I have set your website up or you are doing it yourself on the Siteground platform, here’s the process you need to go through for setting up a Siteground email account.

This is the process to follow to set up an email account, hosted on Siteground, on an iPhone. Outlook and Android will be a slightly different process but the details are the same.

Open up Settings, Passwords & Accounts and Add Account.

Select Other.

Select Add Mail Account.

Fill in the following details:

  • Name – Enter whatever you want to
  • Email – Provided by me
  • Password – Provided by me
  • Description – Enter whatever you want to

Select IMAP (not POP).

Enter your specific details in the following boxes:

Incoming mail server

  • Host name – mail.yoururl (e.g. mail.wildfireexpeditions.co.uk)
  • Username – Provided by me
  • Password – Provided by me

Outgoing mail server

  • Host name – mail.yoururl (e.g. mail.wildfireexpeditions.co.uk)
  • Username – Provided by me
  • Password – Provided by me

Send yourself a test email and it should come through to your Apple email app.

Outlook 365 on mobile

Selecting the Home button you’ll see a the settings option in the bottom left, select that and Add Email Account.

After entering your email address you should then fill in the following details:

  • Password – Provided by me
  • Display Name – Enter whatever you want to
  • Description – Enter whatever you want to

Then click Sign In and you should be done.
