Blencathra is one of those fells that seems to pull people back again and again.
Known for Sharp Edge, sweeping ridges and that unmistakable profile seen from across the northern Lakes, it’s a mountain that leaves a mark long after the walk is over.
This detailed contour map has been created using real terrain elevation data to reveal the folds, ridges and shape of the fell in striking monochrome detail.
Rather than a traditional printed map full of paths and labels, the focus here is entirely on the mountain itself. The result sits somewhere between cartography and wall art. A piece designed for walkers, climbers and people who simply love the Lake District.
